A great day at the airshow, not that we saw much apart from bbq sausages.  A good fundraiser for the community and for Rotary’s global projects. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Barossa Valley for including our club.

International travel is on hold and Australians are out on the road with their caravans in record numbers.  Our club offers guidance, through the expertise of our President, Brian, a qualified driving instructor and principal of Regional Transport Training Service in Nuriootpa, in caravan and trailer safety, on and off the road.  Our previous attendees have enjoyed the informative, relaxed training and if you join us, the modest fee that we ask for is a donation to community and international projects.

This type of training is hard to find so take advantage of what is, for our club, a service to our community.  The next course will be held on 21 November 2020.

You can support the Polio Ute Relay 2020

On the 15th November the POLIO UTE RELAY 2020 will be hosted by the Rotary Club of Barossa District to inform people in the Barossa Valley of the importance of Rotary International’s fight to eradicate polio globally. Polio continues to kill and maim in some countries around the world and we cannot declare total success in our fight until it is eliminated.

When you see the UTE RELAY at the BAROSSA CENTRAL SHOPPING CENTRE stop and talk to us and buy a raffle ticket to support ending polio.

Meetings suspended due to Coronavirus

Our club will not be enjoying our dinner meetings, being involved in our projects and contributing to fundraising until it is safe for our Members, Friends and our community.  We will be out in the community again – we just don’t know when.

The Barossa Valley is extremely quiet in the lockdown and this means that people and businesses that we know are suffering. We sincerely wish them all the best and encourage everyone to support those businesses that have resolutely chosen to stay open.
