Sandy organising the kit assembly

Last Monday we assembled birthing kits in conjunction with the Zonta Club of Gawler for distribution to women in developing countries.  The  simple, compact kits provide safer conditions for the women and their babies.  Our club purchased 200 kits from Birthing  Kit Foundation and had a productive and social gathering putting them together supervised by Zontians, Sandy and Robyn.

Another tough gig for the RYDA dummy

Planning for RYDA – Rotary Youth Driver Awareness – is well under way with the program set to provide students from Eudunda, Kapunda and Nuriootpa High Schools and Faith Lutheran College with skills to keep them safer as new drivers from 14 to 16 September. Our club is pleased to be a member of the Barossa/Kapunda RYDA Group facilitating the program. Encourage your Learner and new P plate drivers to attend.
